Kaiārahi is made by two people who, between them, bring the two halves this work needs: the capability to build it, and the care to make sure no one is left behind. We build from a simple conviction — that the same mind which carried you this far is exactly the one that thrives in this new world.
Why we build
One of us builds the product and sets the direction; the other has spent years as a counsellor, walking alongside people through change. Put those together and you have the whole idea of Kaiārahi — getting genuinely good at AI, with dignity, at a pace that fits you.
We believe what's good for one person is good for the country. Lift the individual and you lift Aotearoa. The care and the economics aren't two missions; they're one motion at two scales — the same haerenga for one person and for the whole motu.
The founders
The technology-and-business half — Roger sets the strategy and builds the product, turning a genuinely new moment into something ordinary people can actually use.
The care half — a practising counsellor, Leah brings years of sitting with tāngata through change, and the dignity-first heart that runs through everything Kaiārahi does.
